Do you suppose morticians steal gold teeth?

Gold can be easily melted and sold. Morticians see a lot of gold teeth and fillings. Nobody ever asks the funeral director to open their dead mother%26#039;s mouth to see if the gold has been removed. A lot could be gathered in a year. The temptation must be irrestable. How often do you think this happens?

Reply:I am a %26quot;mortician%26quot; or embalmer. AND no the temptation is not high because gold fillings arent common anymore. And when a person dies, they purge which is evacuation of stomach contents. No body wants to stick there hands in the mouth. Report It

Reply:Probably alot more than we think. Of course it is tempting to some.

Reply:It does happen I am sure. Or it use to. Cleaning out a home of a deceased person and found a small box of teeth. They are not solid gold and it is a different kind of gold than what you are thinking. The value is not the same as your gold ring. Ask your dentist about the gold he uses in fillings and crowns, he can probably explain it to you better than any attempt I could make.
Reply:the gold in teeth is not the same as the kind of gold you are thinking of. However, I have heard that%26#039;s fairly common practice to steal things out of the caskets after the viewing and right before the coffin is put into the hearse (you know when they close the casket for good, and most people aren%26#039;t there for that?) I%26#039;ve heard of people%26#039;s rings and jewelry being taken.
Reply:I think it is untelling what the funeral home people do to people. They could be stealing things like that and they could be removing organs....Who knows what they do?





Where i live when someone is being buried they want everyone to leave the graveyard before burying them right well to come to find out that funeral home was just dumping the bodies of people into the steal vault and returning the casket to the funeral home to be re sold over and over.


This was happening in my homestate where the state capital is so if the funeral home is that low to do that to people just think of if they are sick in the head and do things with deceased people.
